Nothing better than spending time with your mates who share the same passion as you and working on a project car. Reminds me of good times with friends after building an N/A-T Supra. It took a few weeks and we screwed up a bit, but we had a laugh and replaced the broken parts. This was way before a Supra cost the price of a house.

Lightweight flywheel is the biggest upgrade for the d16. Makes that motor way more fun.

here's a dumb idea - turbo-compound. instead of a compressor, some kind of generator. the engine remains N/A with its stock intake, but you can maybe, if you get enough power from this, drive one or both of the rear wheels with a hub motor or something, or drive the input to the gearbox with some kind of electric motor. I don't think fabbing one is within your capabilities, but if it is, give it a shot.
